LIARS & DENIERS

Liars & Deniers is a bay gelding Thoroughbred. Foal date is 2/15/20. He arrived at the rescue on 10/30/22 from the racetrack but he never raced. He is super sweet and in training with our trainer. He is a 1/2 brother to Traffic Cop and Imperial Temple. Liars is an athlete and could do any discipline. He jumps 3 foot fences. He's a very social horse and is quite the character. One of our employees was working in his stall and had a small toolbox with him. Liars was helping by taking the tools out of the box! LOL. He is an absolutely stunning boy!

OPAL ("ZIPPIN A LIL SCOTCH")

Opal is a paint mare Quarter horse.

Foal date is 4/23/09. She is good being ridden. We've taken her to various events and have had kids riding her. She has been used for riding lessons too. She has one brown eye and one blue eye. Opal would be a great western pleasure show horse. She's a very sweet lady!

VACANZA

Vacanza is a bay gelding Thoroughbred. Foal date is 4/12/12 (Kentucky). Sire is Harlan's Holiday.  V arrived at the rescue on 5/11/21. He is 17 hands. He ran in 38 races and won $100,434. He has had one month of professional training. He stands in crossties and is great for the farrier. He is big and beefy, in your pocket personality. He has wonderful confirmation and recently was ridden by teenagers. Rides English and Western with 3 gaits.

 IKE (LITTLE IKE)

Ike is a drop dead gorgeous grey gelding Thoroughbred. His foal date is 4/16/14. He is 16.3 hands and Illinois bred. Ike is very easy going, sweet personality, quiet and calm. He has excellent ground manners. He is uncomplicated, easy to rid and show quality. He stands very nicely in crossties and is great for the farrier. He has recently been ridden by teenagers and we found out he loves pizza and beer!

TEMPLE ("IMPERIAL TEMPLE")

Temple is a bay gelding Thoroughbred. Foal date is 4/11/16. He ran in 22 races and won $23,321. He arrived at the rescue on 8/12/22. He is stunningly beautiful and very friendly. He is a 1/2 brother to Traffic Cop and Liars & Deniers. He can walk, trot and cantor in both directions. Our trainer is working with him and says he is doing great. He is show quality with three gaits. He is a gorgeous boy!

GEORGE

ADOPTED!!

George is a dark bay gelding Thoroughbred.

Foal date is 2014. He arrived at the rescue on 12/2/16 from Texas. We got him at the age of two and we don't have much information on him from his previous owner. He is a cribber. He is very sweet. We know he doesn't like water sprayed on him like some of his field mates. He actually walks away when we are spraying the horses in hot weather. He needs professional training but could be a flashy showhorse.

BURR OAK

Burr Oak is a Chestnut gelding Thoroughbred. Foal date is 3/30/16. He never raced and came to our rescue on 7/9/22. 

Our trainer has been working with him and says he is a dream to ride. He would be great for show or a trail horse. He rides English and Western. He is suitable for a beginner.

LACEY

Lacey is 16-17 years old. She is a bay mare Thoroughbred. She arrived at the rescue on 6/2/22 from the racetrack. She is very sweet despite showing her "mare ears". She wouldn't cooperate for the pictures. (lol)

COPPER

ADOPTED!!

Copper is a 16-18 year old Saddlebred who was rescued from a kill pen in Texas. He arrived at our rescue on 6/2/23 malnourished. Copper, along with two mini ponies and a black quarter horse were rescued at the same time. We believe they were on their rescue trip because they walked right on the trailer and started to winnie. They were all quarantined and vetted and are now available for adoption.

ALPINE SPICE

ADOPTED!!

Alpine Spice is a Quarter Horse who was rescued from a kill pen in Texas with Copper and the two mini ponies. She arrived at our rescue on 6/2/23 malnourished.  We believe they knew they were on their rescue trip because they walked right on the trailer and started to winnie. They were all quarantined and vetted and are now available for adoption.

MAGNA'S STAR

Magna's Star is a bay mare Thoroughbred. Foal date is 4/13/06. She arrived at the rescue on 10/2/22. She was a broodmare and is the mother of Traffic Cop, Liars & Deniers and Imperial Temple (who are all at the rescue). She certainly makes beautiful babies. She is extremely sweet, in your pocket personality. She loves the water and loves getting sprayed with water when it's hot. She is a beautiful soul. 

MARY

Mary is a Bay Warmblood. Foal date is 2004. 

She arrived at the rescue on 5/10/12. She is good with the farrier and is very sweet. Mary loves to hang in the field with her bestie Molly. She would be a good kids horse or trail horse.

MOLLY

Molly is a Chestnut mare Thoroughbred.

Her foal date is 2016. She arrived at the rescue on 6/28/17. Her mother fell on her and broke her nose, so her nose is crooked. We got her when she was one from Kentucky. She is green, but adoptable. She loves hanging out with her bestie Mary.

TRAFFIC COP

ADOPTED!!

Traffic Cop is bay gelding Thoroughbred.

Foal date: 2/4/19. He arrived at the rescue on 9/9/22 from the racetrack. He ran in one race and won $162. He is a 1/2 brother to Imperial Temple and Liars & Deniers. He is 16.2 hands. He is outgoing and has a friendly personality. We had him at an event and he did great with kids riding him. He is a handsome boy! Someone is going to be very lucky to have this guy!!

NILA

Nila is a bay mare Thoroughbred.

Foal date is is 2019. She arrived at the rescue on 6/1/22. She had an umbilical hernia and we took her to Paducah, Kentucky for surgery to fix it on 8/29/22.  Our trainer is currently working with her. She is show quality. This beautiful lady is very sweet and loves everyone.

MAGIC ("BLACK MAGIC")

Magic is a dark bay gelding Thoroughbred.

His foal date is 2016. He arrived at the rescue on 11/9/17. He's been at the rescue since he was a year old. He is really good with the farrier and is very sweet. He would be a great kid horse.

KITTY (AWESOME KITTY)

Kitty is a chestnut mare Thoroughbred. Foal date is 3/25/19.

She arrived at the rescue on 7/2/23. She ran in two races and won $1,120. Our trainer will be working with her. We are still evaluating her. If you are interested, please contact us.

OKIE

Okie is a bay gelding Thoroughbred. His foal date is 2008. Okie arrived at the rescue on 7/26/21 from Arkansas. He belonged to an older woman who contacted us. She could no longer take care of him. He is super sweet. He would also make a great field mate for your horse. He is on the list for the trainer to start working with him. He is suitable for kids or adults.

FASCINATION

ADOPTED!!

Fascination is a bay mare Welsh pony. We don't know her foal date. We got a call from a woman about her and a couple other ponies. We went to the middle of Missouri to get them. She was the most fearful of all of them. We got back to the rescue late at night and she had a foal the next morning. Randy was her baby. Randy has been adopted.

PRINCESS MAE

Princess Mae is a dark bay mare Thoroughbred. 

Foal date: 5/1/20. She arrived at the rescue on 7/27/23 from the racetrack. This extraordinary filly would be perfect for an experienced rider. She is very loveable. Our trainer is currently working with her. She is very elegant and will most likely mature to 16.2 hands. She is super well balanced with three lovely gaits. She responds to voice commands. She loves jumping and will jump the jumps by herself!

SKY ROCKET

Sky is a 10+ years old (vet best guess) bay gelding Thoroughbred. He arrived at the rescue on 9/24/18 from New York. We don't have a lot of information on him. He is a big, gentle giant and super sweet. He always walks over to the fence to visit everyone. Our trainer is working with him. He is green, but is a show horse prospect.

SADIE (NURSE SADIE)

Sadie is a chestnut mare Thoroughbred. Foal date is 3/18/15. She arrived at the rescue on 8/17/23. She ran in 28 races and won $80,578. Sadie has 3 solid gaits and would be great at Dressage, or Hunter/Jumper. Our trainer loves riding her. She said she is the perfect horse. She has recently been shown and came home with 7 ribbons! She is a quick learner.

SUNDANCE

ADOPTED!!

Sundance is a gelding palamino Quarter Horse. His foal date is 2011. He arrived at the rescue on 7/1/23. He is super friendly and rideable. He is 15 hands. Perfect for western riding and trails.

Avery is a little pony and was born in June, 2020 and was bottle fed as a baby. He has been in foster care with friends of the rescue since March, 2021 and is now back and ready to find his forever home. He loves cows! If you would love to give Avery a forever home, please contact us.

TEMPI ("TEMPESTRA")

Tempi is a bay mare Thoroughbred. Foal date is 

2/4/03. She arrived at the rescue on 1/23/22. She ran in 5 races and won $8,500. Our trainer is currently working with her. She is a big, beautiful mare and is rideable. She is very loveable.

CAT (CAT'S RUNAWAY

Cat is a bay gelding Thoroughbred. Foal date is 4/3/14.

Cat arrived at the rescue on 4/27/20 from the racetrack. He is very sweet and our trainer has been working with him.

GEM CITY JEWEL

ADOPTED!!

Gem is a chestnut gelding Thoroughbred. Foal date is 4/22/15. He came to the rescue on 9/3/20. He was gimpy when he got here, but is okay now. Gem ran in 21 races and made $3,820. He's very friendly. Gem would love to come home with you.
